Accepted to Computer Vision and Image Understanding (CVIU): Semantically Accurate Super-Resolution with GANs. We show that multi-modal learning of super-resolution and semantic labelling improves performance at both tasks, with demonstration on aerial imagery for remote sensing. Preprint here.

Accepted to RA-L: Refractive Light Field Features. We allow robotic vision to operate in previously prohibitive conditions by finding features in the patterns of light passing through transparent objects. This drop-in replacement for SIFT allows 3D reconstructions where SIFT / LiFF fail, and yields more accurate camera trajectory estimates and 3D reconstructions in complex refractive scenes. Pleased to be continuing this decades-old collaboration in hardware implementation of vision algorithms with colleagues who now span the globe! This one adapts the classical concepts of wave-digital filters to the 4D domain to carry out real-time hardware-accelerated depth filtering in light fields.
